Batman: Arkham City Lockdown Review

NetheRRealm's Batman: Arkham City Lockdown is one of the best gaming experiences you'll probably ever find on your Apple device. Arkham City Lockdown has a combat system very much like Chair Entertainment's Infinity Blade. But let me tell you now, this is much more than just a re-skinned Infinity Blade! First of all, Batman: Arkham City Lockdown is separated by levels and lets you go back and replay battles. Also, this Batman title incorporates a Challenge Mode. There is one Challenge for each area of the game. For example, you will have to defeat 10 Penguin minions in 1:30 or you'll have to beat a series of enemies with reduced health due to poisonous gas in the air.

The game is fun and a great time for true fans of the Batman: Arkham titles that have come in the past. You fight enemies such as the Joker, Two-Face, Solomon Grundy, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Deathstroke, and Robin. This game takes place in between Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. You are Batman and you are cleaning up the crime running free in the streets of Gotham. The game shows the birth of Arkham City and Hugo Strange's strong push toward its existence.

Here is some of my recorded gameplay of Batman: Arkham City Lockdown
(iPod Touch Gameplay)

The Verdict:

Arkham City Lockdown is a fun game with quite a couple flaws such as constant crashes. This is made up for by a solid story and fun gameplay.

+ Top-Notch Graphics

+ Fun Gameplay

+ Immersive Story

- Constant Crashes

8.5: Great!
